The open plan living/ dining room has a modern, but country feel, whilst retaining the original features of the oak beams and stone inglenook fireplace. Comfortable sofa and chairs are set around a cosy wood burner, perfect for cooler weather, while a Smart TV, and fibre broadband keep you connected. There is also a selection of board games for family nights in.

Each bedroom offers unbroken views of the surrounding gardens and farmland

Upstairs, the master bedroom has an oak framed king size bed and looks out over the beautiful rolling countryside, the second bedroom is spacious with oak framed twin beds and will comfortably accommodate adults or children. The newly installed modern bathroom has a super walk-in shower, basin with vanity and backlit mirror. There is an additional toilet on the ground floor, again with backlit mirror and vanity unit.

What else is needed: Something about towels provided, do you provide shampoos? What else do you provide – Travel cot, iron etc?

Set in gorgeous enclosed gardens on a peaceful hamlet farm

To the side of the cottage is an enclosed lawned garden with lovely surrounding views, set with table and chairs, ideal to sit and enjoy a meal or simply relax to the sounds of the countryside. For the safety of children, please note that as the property is roadside, children must be supervised when playing in the garden.

Something in here about the BBQ, Outside space/furniture etc?

Walks and cycle routes from the door, Hadrian’s Wall, the Northumberland National Park and the famous Vindolanda Roman Fort, The Sill Landscape Discovery Centre and the world-famous Sycamore Gap are around 6 miles.

Arriving via the rear garden, you enter into the warm and welcoming farmhouse kitchen

I’ve put prompts of what could go here as not much on cottages.com

The stylish country kitchen boasts views across our farm, with animals grazing all year round. Everything you need is provided, from cookery, glassware and cooking oils to toasters, cooking equipment and washing up liquid. Guests are welcome to use the washing machine, with washing tabs and softener provided.

On arrival, you will be welcomed with (more about arrival pack, milk in fridge/bread? local treats, salt and pepper etc?)
